Today I have the pleasure of introducing one of our Account Managers, Tony Waked.  He has been with CSS for an astonishing 27 years! During his time here he has been a mover, crew supervisor, on-site day-to-day operations at client sites, warehouse assistant and dispatcher before finally settling into his current position as Account Manager.

I’m sure there’s a lot of people who instantly recognize Tony, his endearing smile and cheerful chuckle.  The best thing about being a member of the CSS family, according to Tony, is the company culture and teamwork.  There is no doubt that he is customer-centric, he gets a great deal of happiness from being able to exceed our clients’ needs and expectations.  Tony is passionate about what he does, and it shows!

When it comes to food, anything and everything Mediterranean is his favorite, but if he HAD to pick a top favorite it would be tabbouleh.  And to go along with that, his favorite things to drink are local micro-brewed beers and Añejo tequila!  Tony is an avid Montreal Canadians fan and never misses a Liverpool soccer game!  You can often find him at his local water side tavern catching up with friends on his days off.

Tony’s favorite local Calgary destination to visit is Stephen Avenue Mall so it makes sense that his favorite building in downtown Calgary is Bankers Hall – it has everything from shopping to amazing food court options.

Tony caught the travel bug early in life, it’s one of his greatest loves.  One of his bucket list items is to go to Liverpool to catch a game live in person!

We’re thankful for everything that Tony is; hardworking, knowledgeable, talented, humorous, continuously learning and applying his work ethic towards all facets of his position with CSS.
